About the Founder
Chris Shupe
I run a digital advertising agency. I know how to find people, qualify them, and put the right message in front of the right person at the right time. I've done it for clients for years.
A few years ago, I turned those same skills on a personal problem: I had built a successful career, but the social circle around it had quietly hollowed out. So I did what I know how to do — I built one from scratch, using paid advertising, a rigorous vetting process, and a series of carefully designed gatherings.
It worked. And I realized I could do the same for others. That is what The Inner Circle is.

We begin with a private, 30-minute conversation to determine mutual fit. No obligation, no pitch — just an honest exchange to see whether what we do is right for what you need.
The Onboarding Brief
Once you decide to move forward, we conduct a dedicated onboarding session to build your brief in full — the exact type of person you want to know, your values, your interests, and the standards you hold. This is the foundation everything else is built on.
The Search
We run a dedicated, discreet search to find candidates who match your brief. Every candidate is vetted through our process before they ever hear your name. You remain entirely anonymous.
The One-on-One
Before any group event, you meet each candidate individually — a private lunch or dinner. You decide who advances. No pressure, no obligation. You hold the standard.
The First Gathering
Once your founding circle is assembled, we host the first event. You arrive as the person who brought these remarkable people together. The circle is yours. We simply built it.

Will the members know I paid for this?
No. Your use of our service is never disclosed. Members experience you as the founder of an exclusive club — because that is exactly what you are. The curation process is our business, not theirs.
What if I don't click with the people you find?
That is precisely why we use the one-on-one lunch model. You meet every candidate individually before they join the group. If the connection isn't there, they simply don't advance. You hold the standard at every stage.
How is this different from a networking club or YPO?
Networking clubs are built around professional utility. YPO is built around a category of achievement. We build around you — your specific personality, interests, and the kind of people you genuinely enjoy. The result is a circle of friends, not a Rolodex.
I barely have time to sleep. How much time does this require?
We do the work. The process begins with a 30-minute discovery call, followed by a dedicated onboarding session once you decide to move forward. After that, your only obligations are the individual lunches with candidates (at your own pace) and the monthly gathering once the circle is assembled. Most founders spend fewer than four hours a month on the entire process.
What is the investment?
We discuss investment privately on the discovery call, as it varies based on your city, the size of the circle, and the depth of the brief. The discovery call itself is free and commits you to nothing. If we do not believe we can deliver what you are looking for, we will tell you on that call. We only take on engagements we are confident we can execute.
